1. Data We Collect
Fishing Plan collects only the data needed to generate plans and personalize the experience. This may include device identifier, preferred spot locations, catch log entries, selected tackle profile, plan date, fishing technique and distance preferences. If the user signs in, an email address or an anonymous identity provider identifier from Google or Apple may also be stored.
Google User Data
Fishing Plan AI allows users to sign in with Google. When a user chooses to sign in with Google, we may access basic Google account information such as email address, name and profile photo, depending on the permissions granted by Google.
We use Google user data only to create and manage the user's Fishing Plan AI account, authenticate the user, keep the session active, and connect saved fishing plans, spots, preferences and subscription status to that account.
Fishing Plan AI does not sell Google user data and does not use Google user data for advertising, marketing or unrelated analytics. Google user data is not shared with third parties except where necessary to provide core app functionality, comply with legal obligations, prevent abuse or operate trusted service providers such as authentication, database, hosting or payment infrastructure.
Google user data is stored securely and retained only as long as needed to provide the service, maintain the account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes or enforce our terms. Users may request deletion of their account and associated data through our account deletion page or by contacting us at fishingplanai@gmail.com.
Fishing Plan AI's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
2. Spot Records
Spots added by the user are private by default. If a user marks a spot as public, the spot name and location may become visible on community-facing views. Private spots are not shared with third parties and are used only to support the user's own planning flow.
3. Catch Log Entries
Catch logs are also private by default. Public entries may contribute anonymously to regional fish presence statistics and community summary reporting, but other users cannot access a private individual's full raw records.
4. AI Queries
To generate plans and assistant commentary, Fishing Plan may send spot location, date, tackle profile and weather data to the AI model pipeline. These requests are processed without being tied to a user's direct personal identity and are not used for model training.
5. Advertising and Tracking
Fishing Plan uses non-personalized advertising only. No behavioral profile is created for ad delivery. Ad content may depend on the general app context and region. Ad data is not sold to third parties.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
When a user deletes their account, user-specific data stored for that account, such as plans, spots, catch logs and tackle profile information, is intended to be permanently removed from the app's managed backend systems. Public spot or catch log contributions may also be removed from community statistics where applicable.
7. User Rights
Users in Turkey may have rights under KVKK Law No. 6698, and users in Europe may have rights under GDPR, including rights to access, correct, delete and transfer personal data.
8. Third-Party Services
The app may integrate with Supabase, Google AdMob, Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In and weather-related data providers. Payments, where applicable, are handled by the App Store or Google Play.
